The United States will be playing for an unprecedented three-peat at the Women’s World Cup this summer. It won’t be easy for the world’s No. 1 team.Co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand, the quadrennial tournament for international soccer’s most coveted trophy kicks off July 20 and features an expanded field of 32 teams, up from 24. There are 64 total matches during the tournament.That means more competition for the two-time defending World Cup champion U.S., which won the 2015 event in Canada and the 2019 tournament in France. The Americans have won four titles overall, most of any nation.Fox holds the English-language media rights in the United States for the Women’s World Cup. Another landslide at San Clemente's Casa Romantica suspends rail service again

Rail service has once again been halted after land under the historic Casa Romantica in San Clemente continued to slide Monday morning.The slide occurred sometime between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m., San Clemente Mayor Chris Duncan told KTLA. There was significant movement on the slope and boulders and rocks remained on the tracks in the 10 a.m. hour, the mayor added.Train service has been interrupted as a result and tracks near the San Clemente Pier are closed. 26-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Bicycle vs Motorcycle Accident near South Mojave RoadLAS VEGAS, NV (June 5, 2023) – Monday evening, Edgar Carabes was killed and cyclist was hurt in a motorcycle collision on East Desert Inn Road.Police responded to the scene around 10:40 p.m., near South Mojave Road.According to reports, the rider of a Honda motorcycle was speeding west on Desert Inn Road and struck a bicyclist as they were attempting to cross.Medics arrived and transported both men to Sunrise Hospital where the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries.
