Head-on Collision near Olinda Village Left 20-Year-Old Nguyen Nguyen Khao Dinh DeadBREA, CA (March 30, 2023) – Monday night, Nguyen Nguyen Khao Dinh Killed died following a head-on crash on Carbon Canyon Road.The incident happened on March 20th, at around 8:00 p.m., east of Olinda Village.According to reports, two vehicles collided while they were traveling on Carbon Canyon Road. The collision caused the drivers of both vehicles and one of their passengers to sustain injuries.First responders to the crash pronounced 20-year-old Nguyen Nguyen Khao Dinh, of Santa Ana, dead at the scene. Meanwhile, medics transported two other victims to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.Following the crash, crews closed down the areas of the road surrounding the fatal accident for cleanup and preliminary duties. The already-shortened 2022-2023 Dungeness crab season in the Bay Area and central California will come to an end in two weeks.California Fish and Wildlife Department officials on Thursday ordered an April 15 close to the commercial season to minimize the risk of humpback whales becoming entangled in fishing gear as they return to forage off the California coast. The decision was made in consultation with representatives of the fishing industry, environmental organizations and scientists.The order applies to the fishing zones from the Sonoma/Mendocino county line to the Mexican border, and goes into effect at noon April 15. For the time being, crabbing will still be allowed in the waters off Mendocino, Humboldt and Del Norte counties, state officials said.The season started late this year — Dec. 31, with a 50% trap reduction — after a series of delays. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — The Florida Senate on Thursday passed a bill repealing a law requiring a unanimous jury recommendation for the death penalty, a reaction to the life sentence handed to the man who massacred 17 people at a Parkland high school.The bill passed on a 29-10 vote and will allow the death penalty with a jury recommendation of at least 8-4 in favor of execution. The House still needs to approve the bill. Republican Gov.
