The American Repertory Theater has hosted world renowned performers, such as James Earl Jones and Audrey McDonald, over the decades in Cambridge’s Harvard Square, but the venue will be on the move within the next few years.The Boston Planning and Development Agency last week approved to relocate the theater to Harvard University’s Allston campus as part of a $370 million project that also includes a 13-story residential building for graduate students, faculty and staff.“But the facility was not built to support a boundary-breaking regional theater,” A.R.T. (AP) — A man on a hunting trip was shot and killed in western New York on Saturday, the first day of the state’s regular deer and bear hunting seasons, authorities said.The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said it responded at about 7 a.m. to a report that a hunter had been shot in Savannah, about 50 miles (80 kilometers) east of Rochester. Woman dies after CapMetro train hits her in Leander, police said

LEANDER, Texas (KXAN) – The Leander Police Department said a woman died after she was struck by a CapMetro train. The crash happened Saturday near Highway 183 between Sonny Drive and FM 2243. Around noon, police received a report of a train-pedestrian collision.Police said officers found an unknown female dead at the scene, and they believe she was crossing the railroad bridge when the train hit her. LPD said the only people on board the train were the engineer and conductor. Leander police said investigators are trying to identify the woman to notify next of kin. Police described the woman as a white female of an unknown age.Leander police said around 1 p.m. there would be a significant traffic impact as officers investigated the incident. TAYLOR COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) — A Taylor County lunch lady accused of slapping an elementary school student who asked what was for lunch has been arrested.Leann Thomason was taken into custody Friday on an injury to a child charge in connection to the allegations.Court documents state a school resource officer at Buffalo Gap Elementary School began investigating Thomason in February after a school employee alerted officials to the incident.This school employee saw a student crying in the cafeteria, and when she started asking questions, the documents state she learned the incident may have involved another school employee.When the school resource officer questioned the student, the documents state he said that when he asked one of the lunch ladies, later identified as Thomason, what was for lunch, she slapped him on the head with her hand.The documents claim she did this because she was upset by the child's question.Another student who witnessed the assault told officers that, "t...
